Pickering is a small city in GTA, Ontario. With the diverse and sparse population of about 91 thousand people (as of 2016), it is growing, but a bit slower than before. The city is safe, with comparatively cheap housing, few jobs, skyscrapers and educational opportunities, being described as suburban-rural area.
The city is very close to Toronto, in the suburb, just near its east. The distance from the downtown is about 20 miles, meanwhile. Multiple Canadians and foreigners still keep arriving at the city, hiring reliable Pickering movers. It is attractive due to:
-various sports and outdoor activities;
-safe and green environment;
-beautiful Waterfront and Seaton Hiking Trails;
-Museum Village;
-Durham College;
-Blaisdale Montessori School.
Some large employers are still available, as the suburban city is proud of its developed nuclear, pharmaceutical, electrical equipment manufacturing industry.
